- Introduction to Excel
This course provides delegates with an introduction to the Excel software. It assumes no prior knowledge, and does not require any mathematics qualifications to attend, However it is expected that you will know how to open and save files to a folder in Windows, have a good working knowledge of the layout and use of a QWERTY keyboard (including use of shift, tab and control keys) and understand how to select blocks of content by clicking with a mouse.

HerefordWorcester - Introduction to Milling
The course is aimed at personnel with no previous machining training and for those tasked with performing basic machining operations on a Turret Mill or candidates such as technicians, designers & supervisors wishing to gain an appreciation in the subject as outlined in the course programme below.
This is a practical based course, carrying out exercises on real machinery, therefore the delegates are required to wear safety boots.
Hereford - Introduction to PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
This course provides an introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and how they are used in various manufacturing environments. Working with the latest Siemens equipment in our new Automation facility, delegates will get a hands-on experience of programming PLC’s in various real-life scenarios.
This course is aimed at engineers who wish to increase their knowledge or are multiskilling. Basic electrical knowledge is essential for this course. Some fluid power and previous PLC experience would be advantageous. Delegates are able to progress to our Advanced PLC course.

This online course is designed to increase knowledge of MS Word to create a range of versatile, sophisticated business documents while ensuring document security and protection are applied as needed. It will familiarise delegates with use of Word 2013 and 2016 enabling them to work with confidence between different versions of the software

- PAT Testing
A two day 'practical' workshop aimed at anyone involved in the inspection and testing of portable electrical equipment
Do they need previous experience or qualifications to attend?
There is no formal requirement for candidates to be electricians, however to enable the best chance of passing the examination they should have a sound knowledge of electrical principles and units of electricity and an understanding of basic testing procedures. We recommend for delegates attending the City and Guilds PAT Testing course purchase or have a look at the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment
Its available on the internet at various places including Amazon. Its not mandatory but it will really assist delegates into what the training will cover and what to expect. It would also be useful to bring it to the formal training itself to look at and refer to during the training.
