Problem Solving and Decision Making

The ability to solve problems sets apart the superior from the average individual. Today’s business environments can no longer find success with mere hard work, but rather need Smart work – this means the ability to find solutions and new ways forward. Too many people are simply stumped by short and long-terms problems which create much stress, conflict and loss of business. The person who can solve problems has a priceless value. This person is the one who makes the difference, finds the advance and takes the company forward. This person is the Smart Worker.
The counterpart to solving problems is decision making. Often otherwise productive workers are held back by the lack of knowledge of how to make effective, decisive and evaluated decisions. The person who can be decisive and choose the best course of action stands out, often as the leader, and always as the quality person in the team.
There is also opportunity during this day to share any particular problem you may have and apply the techniques to actually solve it immediately. This has been the case for several of our delegates in the past!
