To promote the long-term prosperity of the Company by maintaining and, where possible, improving the quality of the service provided. To enhance the Company’s image in the market place. To liaise with colleagues for the benefit of the business. To support CAD Technician with high quality administration and accurate drawings.

What you will do in your working day

  • To learn to create CAD Drawings for new sales contracts
  • Maintain administration of the drawing received & sent registers
  • Review BIM Execution Plans on relevant contracts and support Technician with brief to Director
  • To learn to import M&E drawings and overlay on our developed grids to identify service clashes and help develop bridging requirement schedule
  • To administer/maintain the 3D model library of details
  • Help develop special interface details for Estimating and Contracts Teams
  • To Transfer DWG Drawings into PDF Files and re-issue to estimators
  • To ensure correct As Built Drawings files provided for the O&M Manuals
  • Use specialist Callidus software to support contracts team with drawing changes as required
  • Access various online platforms to manage filing of contract drawings
  • Operate at all times within the quality standards and procedures defined by the Company
  • To liaise with Contracts and Estimating Administrators regarding all changes in systems, method of filing etc.
  • To use Bluebeam software to markup PDF documents/drawings
  • To use excel & word software as required
  • To provide administrative support to Commercial/Contracts
  • Perform other duties within your capabilities from time to time by a director of the company
  • Keep up to date the document/drawing database
  • Raising works packages and Health and Safety Packages to sub-contractors and maintaining an accurate log
  • Maintain the filing systems and ensure that filing is kept up to date, including the archiving system

To provide administrative assistance to various departments throughout the college, supporting managers and their staff in a variety of tasks related to organisation and communication.

What you will do in your working day

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration within the college including, but not limited to, the departments of Reception, Admissions, Bursary, Transport, Library, Resources, Exams and Estates.

        Duties will be varied and include:

  • Communicating with students, staff and parents via email, phone and in-person

What you will do in your working day

Duties will include:

You will provide an efficient, effective all round administrative support to the Human Resources function. As this is an apprenticeship role, no experience is required! However, our ideal Human Resources Business Administration Apprentice will require great communication skills, resilience and a keen eye for detail.

What you will do in your working day

  • Support the Human Resources Team with administration including projects/tasks
  • Administer and maintain the electronic time and attendance system
  • Assist with the company recruitment and induction and onboarding process
  • Play a key role in the maintenance of the company’s Human Resources systems. Updating Human Resources systems in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Apprenticeship:

  • To actively and enthusiastically work towards successfully achieving the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification
  • To complete any tasks assigned by HWGTA (apprenticeship training provider) or any other training provider to support your apprenticeship

Sales Ledger:

  • Processing sales invoicing
  • Preparation of schedules to support revenue recognition and cost matching
  • Monthly reconciliation of recognised revenue
  • Manage customer invoice queries whilst maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Production and review of aged debtors’ reports, including working with clients to ensure prompt payment of monies due

Purchase Ledger:

  • Ensure timely transacting of supplier invoices
  • Review of supplier statements
  • Receive and respond to supplier queries
  • Ensuring timely receipt of goods
  • Review and processing of employee cash expenses & employee credit cards in line with PCI Travel and Expenses policy
  • Monthly review of aged creditors and goods received not invoiced (GRNI) reports

Other:

  • Assisting with year-end audit requests
  • Carry out other month end procedures as an when required
  • Support with business process improvements and lean ways of working
