Engineering Instructor

The role will be based at our training centre in Worcester, based within our Engineering department.

The purpose of an Engineering Instructor:

  • Contribute to well sequenced curriculum planning for the specified apprenticeship programme.
  • Update training delivery skills, through an ongoing CPD programme.
  • Ensure delivery is appropriate to the learning group and relevant to the qualification.
  • Motivate and support learners to optimise their potential.
  • Give timely and constructive feedback to learners, both in delivery sessions and through written or verbal means, when work is submitted for tutor review/assessment.

The successful applicant will ideally:

  • Experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering workplace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence when working with people of all ages and abilities.

The purpose of a Receptionist / Administrator:

  • To provide an effective, friendly, efficient and professional welcome to customers and guests of HWGTA, both face to face and over the telephone.
  • To professionally prepare training and meeting facilities.
  • Deal effectively and professionally with incoming calls to the organisation.
  • Deal effectively and professionally with incoming deliveries to the organisation, including distribution of the post.
  • Provide administrative support to the apprenticeship operations, including support for apprentice records, initial assessments, contacting employers, coordinating and administering relevant processes.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Administration qualification level 2 or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Administration / Customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence in working with people of all ages.
