Mental Health Awareness and Support in the Workplace
This half-day course provides essential knowledge and skills to foster good mental health in the workplace. Participants will learn about the definition of mental health and the detrimental role of stigma in preventing team members from seeking support. The course will delve into the impact of workplace culture on mental well-being and explore the connection between workplace stress and mental health issues.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of common mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and psychosis, and learn how to support colleagues experiencing these challenges. The course will also address the serious issue of self-harm and suicide, equipping participants to identify individuals at risk and provide appropriate support.
