Alan Jones

Alan began his career as an Apprentice Toolmaker at HWGTA, specialising in Plastic Injection Moulding. Following 16 years in the industry, he joined the Association in 1991 as an Engineering Training Officer. After serving as Head of Engineering until 2025, Alan now continues to support apprentices in the workplace, on a part-time basis.
