The administrative role is a key role within Ledbury Town Council, often being the first point of contact for the public, councillors, and stakeholders.

What you will do in your working day

During an average week you will be required to work on tasks such as:

  • Taking bookings for the weekly market and be responsible for assigning pitches

Engineering

Bathgate Flooring are offering the opportunity for you to learn and obtain experience/qualification in the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical engineering which you will then be able to implement within the live factory environment as part of the engineering team.

What you will do in your working day

As part of the Engineering team you will work alongside experienced engineers who are keen to support your progression.  As your learning/skills develop you will be involved with both preventative and ongoing maintenance/improvement work.

Learning core skills used in the maintenance of electrical control systems and mechanical equipment such as;

This is a position within a small company which provides variation along with routine tasks. The candidate will be required to work as part of a small team and ultimately contribute to the fabrication, planning and production requirements of the company.

What you will do in your working day

Some typical duties could include:

  • Assisting our existing fabrication manager to decide on a schedule for the day or week using information from the sales team.
  • Assessing existing stock to ascertain potential shortfalls and re-stock accordingly.
  • TIG and MIG welding, grinding and general preparation of components using hand-held power tools.

  • Assembling components to provide support to the production line, moving on to more involved tasks and the completion of units once trained.
