Project Management

Candidates will need to assess what good project management looks like, what the core elements of the planning process look like, who the key stakeholders might be and how to monitor outputs and outcomes. Leadership styles of projects is also considered

The training will cover the following areas:

  • Defining the core elements of project management. Looking at what good project management (PM) is and what constitutes a successfully planned project
  • Learn what the key components of PM are: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure
  • Explore a deeper analysis of the 4 stages of PM: Going through various PM tools in each of the 4 stages above: Looking at models like McKinseys 7S, Futures wheel, 6 thinking hats, milestones and PI’s, risk management, stakeholders, gannt charts etc
  • Identify the 10 deadly sins of PM
  • Explain team & leadership roles & how different leadership styles can affect projects
