Who is this course aimed at?
People already working within teams, those pulling together teams, those who would like to motivate their existing teams and individuals
Do you need previous experience or qualifications to attend this course?
Flatter organisational structures lend themselves to the concept of self-managed teams. However, it is not enough to bring a group of individuals together, call them a team and tell them what results you expect. Creating a team requires commitment and careful management. This training will help organisations identify exactly what makes some teams more motivated and better performing than others. It will be beneficial whether you are looking to work with existing teams or putting a new team together
At the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:
- Differentiate between groups and teams
- Analyse team-working roles
- Identify 3 specific needs of a team
- Relate to the 5 stages of team development
- Manage and motivate your team
